Functions of Seaweed Extract
Instruction of Seaweed Extract
Seaweed Extract are water-soluble functional fertilizer additives made from natural seaweed as the core raw material through green processes such as biological extraction, concentration and low-temperature drying. Rich in natural plant growth regulators, seaweed polysaccharides, amino acids, vitamins, and medium and trace elements like calcium, magnesium and iron, they have comprehensive nutritional components that are easily absorbed by crops, boasting both fertilizing and conditioning effects. It appears as a black powder or tablet. Rich in 18 kinds of protein amino acids, plant growth regulators (auxins, cytokinins, etc.), alginic acid, humic acid, vitamins, nucleotides, plant stress-resistance factors, and various essential elements for plant growth such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.

Functions of Seaweed Extract
Seaweed Extract are water-soluble fertilizer additives made from seaweed through processes like biological extraction, concentration and drying. Their core functions focus on promoting crop growth, enhancing stress resistance, improving soil conditions and boosting agricultural product quality, detailed as follows:
✅ Supplying crop nutrients and accelerating growth and development
Seaweed Extract are rich in natural plant growth regulators (such as gibberellins, cytokinins and auxins), seaweed polysaccharides, amino acids, vitamins, as well as medium and trace elements including calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. These components can stimulate cell division and elongation of crops, promote the development of robust root systems, and enhance the roots' ability to absorb nutrients and water. Meanwhile, they accelerate the growth of stems and leaves, resulting in sturdy plants with dark green foliage. They also facilitate flower bud differentiation, increase fruit set rate, and enable crops to mature and hit the market earlier.
✅ Enhancing crop stress resistance and reducing damage from adverse conditions
Substances like seaweed polysaccharides and betaine contained in Seaweed Extract help crops maintain cell osmotic pressure under stressful conditions such as drought, low temperature, salinization and pest infestations. They protect the stability of cell membrane structures, and reduce damage to plants caused by harsh environments. For example, in drought conditions, they can reduce water evaporation; in low-temperature environments, they improve the freezing resistance of crops; in saline-alkali soil, they alleviate ion toxicity. Additionally, they strengthen crops' resistance against fungal, bacterial and other diseases, thereby reducing pesticide usage.
✅ Improving soil physical and chemical properties and increasing soil fertility
The organic matter in Seaweed Extract can improve soil aggregate structure, break up soil compaction, and enhance soil aeration, water retention and fertilizer retention capacity. At the same time, they provide carbon sources for soil microorganisms, promote the reproduction of beneficial microbes (such as Bacillus and Actinomycetes), regulate the balance of soil microecology, activate fixed nutrients in the soil, and improve fertilizer utilization rate. Long-term application can achieve a sustained increase in soil fertility.
✅ Improving agricultural product quality and increasing commodity value
They can promote the accumulation of nutrients such as sugar, vitamins and proteins in crops, reduce nitrate content in agricultural products, and improve the sweetness, color and taste of fruits. Furthermore, they enhance the storage and transportation resistance of fruits, reduce post-harvest decay and deterioration, extend shelf life, and thus improve the market competitiveness of agricultural products.

Notes for Use
As a functional fertilizer additive, Seaweed Extract should be used in combination with macronutrient fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) to meet the nutritional needs of crops throughout their growth cycle.
With good water solubility, Seaweed Extract can be applied via foliar spraying, drip irrigation or fertigation. For foliar spraying, it is recommended to conduct the operation in the early morning or late evening to avoid the impact of high temperature and strong light on absorption effectiveness.
Storage Instructions
✅ Seal and store in cool, dry & ventilated place, avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and humidity
✅ Keep away from fire, heat sources, flammable, explosive, strong acid & alkali substances
✅ Use up promptly after opening; reseal remaining products tightly to prevent moisture absorption
✅ Store out of reach of children & pets, avoid accidental ingestion
✅ Slight caking due to moisture absorption does not affect fertilizer efficiency
