Product Specification
Ammonium sulphate is an inorganic compound with the appearance of colorless crystals or white particles. It is insoluble in ethanol and acetone, but easily soluble in water. The resulting aqueous solution is acidic, with a relative density of 1.77 and a melting point of 230 to 280°C.
When ammonium sulphate is heated to above 280°C, it decomposes and releases gases such as ammonia and sulfur dioxide. Its solubility is 70.6 grams at 0°C and increases to 103.8 grams at 100°C.
