Product Specification
Ammonium sulphate, with the chemical formula (NH4)2 SO4, is an inorganic compound with colorless crystals or white particles. It is insoluble in ethanol and acetone, but easily soluble in water. The aqueous solution exhibits an acidic reaction, with a relative density of 1.77 and a melting point between 230-280 ℃.
Ammonium sulfate decomposes above 280 ℃, releasing gases such as ammonia and sulfur dioxide. Its solubility at 0 ℃ is 70.6g, while its solubility at 100 ℃ is 103.8g.
